How to set-up a proxy in Google Chrome?

Instructions:

Step 1: In the Chrome browser, press the “Customize and control Google Chrome” button and choose “Settings”.

Step 2: Click “Advanced”.

Step 3: Scroll down to the “System” title.

Step 4: Click on “Open proxy settings”.

Step 5: Scroll down to the “Manual proxy setup”

Step 6: Toggle the “Use a proxy server” option.

Step 7: Type the Proxy and Port. Click “Save”.

e.g. HTTP Proxy: 123.xx.xx.xx

Port: 8800

Step 8: Visit IP checker sites to confirm that your proxy is working.
